So, there you are .A proper breakfast does contribute to feeling and looking good. Naturally , some form of exercise like yoga , kickboxing,body balance or even dancing are wonderful ways to complement your food intake .These activities will help you to burn calories and maintain your weight so you can feel good and look great all the time.

How to taste cheese

  1. Look at it .Is the cheese smooth ? waxy? Golden ?Oily ? Break off a small piece and feel it.
  2. Smell it , then taste it . Do you smell herbs or flowers?Is it stinky?Do you taste nuts,pepper or any herbs you smelled? is it creamy ? rubbery? hard?
  3. Swallow it . Do any of flavours linger in your mouth ? Sage and other herbs are common flavours. Whats your overall impression?

A healty breakfast should have some protein and fiber . Protien comes from meat , eggs ,and beans. Fiber is found in whole cereals , grains and fruits. As long as you have balanced combination of these essentials in your diets breakfast menu , you're off to a bringt start.

oats is good for you

all nutritious- part of the oat's distinvtive flavour comes from the roasting process that it undergoes after being harvested and cleaned .Although it is necessary to remove the hull (outer layer) , the process does not strip away the bran and germ , thus retaining a concentrated source of fibre and nutriens.
rich in fibre - oats consist of approximately 55 percent soluble fibre , of which nutritionsts suggest that approximately 20-30 percent of our daily fibre .Some types of dietary fibre bind to cholesterol , and since fibre is not absorbed by the body ,neither is the cholesterol.
lower blood sugar level - scientific studies have shown that starting out your day with a blood sugar stabilising food such as oats may make it easier to keep blood sugar level under control the rest of the day .It helps that your body daily deit is also filled with nourishing , rich-in-fibre foods.

tomato and herbs sauce

This is an all -time favourite .Pour it over pasta or cook as a stew . you can buy pre-made sauces from the supermarkets, or you can make your own . It is best to use all the the pasta sauce in that one cooking itself. If not ,store in well-sealed container . Leftover cooked pasta should be refrigerated and consumed within a day or two.

triple longan combination

use the amber coloured dried longans for this , not to dark ,semi dried ones
  • 100 g dried longans
  • 1 litre water
  • 75 g finely crushed yellow rock sugar , or to taste
  • 1 tsp konnyaku powder
  • 1 cans longans ( about 550g )
  • ice cubes , to serve
  1. Bring dreid longans and water to a boil in a small pot , over medium -low haet .Simmer 10 minutes , until longans are swollen and succulent. scoop out longans and set aside .
  2. Mix rock sugar with konnyaku powder and spinkle into longan liquid , stiring .Return it to the boil and simmer for 2-3 minutes , then strain mixture into jelly mould or a tray .let jelly cool set .
  3. To serve , unmould jellies (cut into cubes if you have used a tray mould ).Drain canned longans, reserving juice .Mix canned longans, simmered dreid longans and jellies and moisten with a litte of the reserved juice. stir in a large handful of ice cubes , and serve immediately.

seafood bisque pasta

Ingrediants

  • 300 g boiled fettuccine
  • 300 g green mussels ,cleaned
  • 200 g squid , sliced into rings
  • 100 g prawns ,shelled
  • 1 medium onion , cut into chucks
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 2 tsp dried coriander
  • 1 cup stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 1 cup prawn stock
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tso pepper

method

  • In a heated pan , place butter ,olive oil ,onions garlic and dreid coriander .Fry using low heat , until frangant.
  • Add mussels squids and prawns and cook it for 5 min.Then add cream cheese , stewed tomatoes and tomato puree .Mix together for another 3 min.
  • Add the prawn stock and allow it to boil until the sauce is reduced to half and has a thick texture.
  • Toss in the fettuccine , season with pepper and salt to taste .Bring to boil and serve immediately.

fresh pasta is available in a greater variety of flavour though lacking in shapes as compered to dried pasta .It most often contains eggs and has high water contains , making it necessary to refrigetare or freeze the pasta to keep it from spoiling . If refrigerated , it should be used within 3 to 4 days of purchacing within approximately one to two months if frozen .Eggs in the pasta , along with other flavouring agents such as herbs , spices and vegetables ,brighten its colour and add flavour , giving the pasta more nutritional value .Fresh pasta's softer texture goes well with lighter sauces , such as tomato , cream and simple sauces made from oil or butter that is naturally flavoured with herbs.

  2. Oats groats are minimally processed with only the outer hull removed .They are very nutritious, but tend to be chewy and need to be soaked and cooked for long time .
  3. Quick oats or oatmeal are of the vereity more commanly used in instant oats breakfast . Consisting of thin flakes of oatmeal ,they cook in about three or four minutes and are good choice for oatmeal cookies .
  4. Rolled oats are oats groats that are steamed ,rolled ,and flaked so that they cook quickly .They're often added raw to granola or muesli mixes.
